walking lightly on earth



It has now been three years since we cleaned up our diet and toxins in our home and most importantly we staying consistent. I would like to share with you the “everyday” improvements I’ve noticed with my health and vitality.

Prior, we tried to stay away from sugar, gluten and dairy as much as possible but we’re not consistent. Also, only about 10-20% of our groceries were produced organically and we didn’t worry to much about processed foods.
Now we are gluten free and dairy free and we’ve quit sugar (in particular fructose). The majority of our groceries are grown organically and we’ve very little processed foods. We also prioritise a toxin free home, getting outdoors, sleep and meditate daily.

The reason for our dietary and lifestyle changes was the birth of our son and my wish to come of the immune suppressing medication that I’ve taken for more than 10 years now. I’ve an autoimmune condition where my immune system attacks my own liver. Luckily, I’ve not been debilitated from the condition nor have I had trouble with side effects from the medication.

I guess, I could keep on going like this for the rest of my life but still after more than 10 years, it just doesn’t sit with me to swallow a pill every day. I also don’t like to be put in the box of people on prescription medication. I simply don’t see myself there!

The conventional doctors I’ve come across can’t explain why nor can they offer me any alternative to taking medication so I’ve taken my health and vitality in my own hands and now I only take 1/4 dosage medication of what’s average for my weight.

I’ve also noticed improvements in my overall health and vitality:

  • Whiter and clearer eyes
  • No more bleeding gums
  • More energy
  • No afternoon slumber
  • Less sugar cravings
  • No more restless legs
  • Stronger nails
  • Less cold hands and feet
  • Better digestive health
  • Less gas
