IMMUNE BOOSTING SHOTS
Yesterday afternoon, I shared these shots of goodness with my mother. The colour on it’s own brightened up our afternoon 🙂
Generally, I don’t juice much as juicing removes the fibers and the sugars become simple sugars that will affect your blood sugar. I therefore stay away form fruit or I’ll only use very little and even carrot and beetroot juice becomes high in simple sugars.
On the other hand, juices contain a high amount of readily available vitamins, minerals and other beneficial nutrients and at the moment my body tells me that it wants and strong shot of goodness.
Juice one organic lemon, fresh ginger and turmeric to taste and you can also add them one apple.
Sprinkle with cayenne pepper for better turmeric absorption before enjoying your shot.
